The Greater Rockford Music Academy (GRMA) is proud to announce our free summer youth music program, funded by
the Illinois R3 Grant. This comprehensive initiative creates positive opportunities for young people while helping reduce
violence in our community. Starting June 9th, we'll offer daily programming from 7:00AM to 5:00 PM, providing a safe,
structured environment where youth can develop musical skills and build positive relationships.
Daily activities include but not limited to:
- Breakfast and Lunch
- Music Lesson
- Games and Activities
- Mentorship and Team Building Activities
Open to ages 6-13, participants can choose to learn 1 of the following courses.
- Percussion
- Piano
- Electric Bass
All Instruments are provided and remain onsite. Space is limited!
Led by Demorris Flannigan and an impressive lineup of artists & facilitators GRMA's summer program creates the perfect environment where creativity meets purpose!
